ABOUT THE LAKE
Attabad Lake is a lake in Hunza, Gilgit, Pakistan. The lake was created in January 2010 as a result of land slide. Since then Attabad Lake has become on the biggest tourist attractions in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan offering activities like boating, jet skiing, fishing and other recreational activities.
LOCATION
Just few miles from Karimabad City, Luxus Hunza is situated right on the banks of Atta Abad Lake.

By Car (via Naran, Babusar Pass)
This route is closed from November – March due to high snowfall at Babusar Pass (13,500ft). However if you are traveling in summer season, this route is highly recommended due to its high scenic value.
1. Islamabad – Balakot – Naran (6 hours drive)

3. Naran – Babusar Pass – Chilas – Gilgit-Attabad (8 hours Drive)
